Local Leadership in the Wake of Terror
The hours, days, and weeks that follow an act of terror can be vital to whether cities can restore calm and overcome the fear which the perpetrators of such acts seek to instill. Using case studies from U.S. and international cities that have experienced terrorist attacks, this panel of experts will discuss how to minimize the short- and long-term impact of such crises, from reducing hate crimes, fear, and misinformation through the words and actions of local leaders.
