Music is tough for songwriters and artists in the streaming age. Multiple rights-holders and opaque processes make distributing royalties difficult. Today, payment for a stream of a recorded song in one country could be due to one set of rights-holders but in another country due to a whole different set of societies, publishers, labels and licensees. This panel will cover why connecting billions of global streams to the right parties is so hard and how smart minds are working to find solutions.
