If Austin loves one thing as much as tacos and BBQ, it’s the warm, melted cheese phenomenon that is queso. So it’s no surprise that the annual Quesoff (rhymes with face-off) has become the premiere Austin culinary competition where laymen and women compete against restaurants and top chefs to claim the title of Best Queso in Austin. The SouthBites Trailer Park at SXSW 2018 will feature a special “best of the best” edition of the Quesoff with some of the heaviest hitters from the annual contest serving up their finest offerings of this classic Austin appetizer.
