For over a decade, multi-platinum, Korean-American hip-hop artist Jay Park has been at the forefront of the K-pop movement that swept through Asia, before successfully cementing his place as an independent hip-hop and R&B artist recognized worldwide. Most recently, Jay Park made waves as the first Asian American artist to sign with Jay Z's venerated hip-hop and R&B label Roc Nation.
In 2013, Jay Park founded the leading South Korean independent hip-hop/urban label, AOMG that focused on individual artistry first, over commercialism. Within two years, AOMG artists topped all mainstream music charts in South Korea and Asian regions. In 2017 Jay Park founded a second label, H1GHR MUSIC, with long-time producing partner Chase Malone. The newly minted label houses artists from various countries both mainstream and underground.
Jay Park‘s 4th studio album, Everything You Wanted, lands one year after his 2016 album, WORLDWIDE. Everything You Wanted charted at #3 on Billboard’s World Album Chart, #3 in iTunes U.S. R&B Chart. He was also recognized in Forbes Magazine's 30 Under 30 Asia 2017: Entertainment & Sports category, and Korean Music Awards Artist of the Year.
