Dj Anarchy felt the call to the craft of djing in 2005 when he met his mentor, Dj Bee. Growing up in the diverse area of Virginia Beach, Virginia with access to his mother's extensive record collection, Anarchy cultivated a love for all types of music. His love of playing music for varying crowds lead him to a style that incorporates elements of hip hop, soul, funk, breakbeat, r&b (60's to present), go-go, Baltimore club, house, pop, reggae, disco, afrobeat, neo soul, and more. After making Houston his home in 2012, Anarchy has grown to incorporate acid jazz, alternative soul, and electronica to his arsenal. Dj Anarchy has displayed his talents at numerous clubs, lounges, and private events throughout his over 10 years behind the "wheels of steel" highlighted by a set at SXSW in March of 2015. With a segment on Houston's KPRC morning news his new venture "Soul Control" ( a uniquely eclectic movement based experience along with fellow soul controller, Dj Elevated) Dj Anarchy is already setting a new standard for Houston nightlife.
