Boogat is a brilliant Latin vocalist who constantly reinvents himself with his prolific discography and unique
artistic approach. With his album " El Dorado Sunset'', Boogat was embraced by the general public in
Quebec. The album earned him two Félix Awards from the Québec Association for the Recording, Concert
and Video Industries (ASIDQ) in 2013 for Best World Music Album and Best Producer. He is also a 2016
Juno Award Winner in the category of Best World Music Album for his latest album, Neo-Reconquista
(2015).

His forceful and witty rapping seamlessly blends with programmed and live instrumentation. His explosive
live show blending Cumbia, Reggaeton, Salsa, Hip-hop, and other Latin styles, will turn any space into a
party for both fans of Latin music and a larger audience. His non-stop work in the Worldbeat / Tropical Bass
scene has given him worldwide recognition and has permitted him to develop an international career, mainly
in North America where tours and festival appearances have increased significantly since 2013. He has
opened for the likes of Nortec Collective, Quantic, Gilles Peterson, and Chromeo.
