Lime Cordiale
Brothers Louis and Oli Leimbach, better known as Lime Cordiale, were still in high school when they began writing and playing tunes together in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. It didn’t take long to grow out of the area, and within a couple years, they would play at Bluesfest, Homebake, Peats Ridge and BigSound, tour North America including performances at CMJ and SXSW, as well as playing support slots for Ball Park Music, Sticky Fingers, The Griswolds and The Ruebens among others.
Over time, the pair have crafted and refined a sound to call their own. Their debut album “Permanent Vacation” was followed up by a nationwide tour (including 6 sold out shows), performing many of their new songs live for the first time. Across twelve tracks, “Permanent Vacation” showcases a unique blend of rock, pop, soul and beyond, drawing influences from Beach Boys to The Strokes and The Growlers. On their new material, Oli and Louis say they “spent a lot of time creating these songs and exploring their sound. We wanted a collection of songs that really have a personality and vibe,” and they’re not wrong. The album is diverse, engaging, colourful and catchy — and they’re only just getting started.
