Ayuma
Genre and style have less meaning when you are no longer concerned with definitions. When music is the goal, and your influences are universal, a musician like AYUMA is born. Raised in the 'Live Music Capital,' AYUMA delivers a unique vibration that bridges jazz, electronic, hip hop, and trap into a palpable jambalaya of sound that is ready for the world. Although he is currently most well-known for his work as a saxophone player, he is a truly gifted multi-instrumentalist, producer, beatboxer, composer, teacher, and songwriter that has worked and/or shared stages with: Grammy award-winning musician Adrian Quesada (Grupo Fantasma, Brownout, Ocote Soul Sounds), Jeff Tain Watts (Kool and the Gang), Chaka Mpeanaji (Riders Against the Storm), Javon Jackson (Jazz Messengers), and PJ Morton (Maroon 5). Described by some as the 'Future of Austin Music, AYUMA is preparing an untitled EP release in 2018.
