SANTIAGO (rapper) Kevin Gerard Santiago (born February 12, 1982), better known as SANTIAGO, is a Christian hip hop artist from New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been a member of Christian hip hop group Messiah Muzic / Kingdom Muzic since 2015. Santiago is the oldest of 5 children. Growing up in New Orleans was no cakewalk for Santiago. He was introduced to a life of drugs and violence at a very early age. His father, being addicted to crack cocaine has put Santiago in some very dangerous situations as a kid. Seeing drug dealers knocking on the door late at night, his father being shot, deals gone bad, you name it he have seen it. His immediate family was full of users and dealers as well. "That's all I saw was my family being torn apart by the drug lifestyle, said Santiago". Santiago had to live with his grandparents due to his mother and father being unfit to raise him. She did the best she could to raise him but by the time he became a young man the chaos continued in his life. He began to sell large amounts of marijuana across the New Orleans area.
