British knife-wielding, guitar-bending, pop-noir heroine Gemma Ray makes rousing adventurous music mixing 60s girl-group dramarama, torch song psychedelia, cinematic gothic western sounds, and sideways blues. Her new album will be released in September 2018. She has collaborated with Alan Vega (Suicide), Sparks, Matt Verta-Ray (Heavy Trash), Howe Gelb, and members of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. Her debut album "The Leader" will be released for the first time on vinyl this, on its 10th anniversary. Gemma is based in Berlin.
