This is true of James Droll, the brooding electronic-R&B-pop crooner who spends his time observing in the corner of the diviest East Nashville haunts. Droll’s name is not indicative of his sound; his words can pierce with venom or plea with agony or place barriers between him and loves lost. He’s firmly built his niche in the New-Nashville pop spectrum and sinks his teeth into any of the sounds that are coming from this progressive scene. His pride and conviction will forever keep his listeners and fans off beat.
