Yazan is an expressive alien; a rock n roll reclaimer; a scientist studying the sustainable self; a significant part pizza. Yazan is forever a middle child, yearning for your attention. He is teaching himself to sing so that you would maybe listen to what he has to say. Having spent recent years assembling a band to support his sophisticated sound, YAZAN is also a new formation playing songs from his upcoming release Hahaha (Exploding in Sound Records).

Yazan's homegrown reputation as one of Brooklyn's most dynamic and powerful voices came out of the late night juke joint jams hosted at his now defunct Williamsburg basement speakeasy. Word spread throughout the Northeast US, and in 2015, young post-punk legends PILE took notice of Yazan's wide-ranging guitar style, asking him to join them for their US tour. Capitalizing on the chemistry that developed between him and powerhouse drummer Kris Kuss, Yazan returned to Allston, MA over the course of two years to record with Kuss and producer Mark Fede (Fat History Month). Hahaha is nine songs shedding light on some of Yazan's most vulnerable and darkest feelings.
