Stone Wheels is a cosmic country rock band from Austin, TX that draws on the influence of Texas songwriters like Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, and Kris Kristofferson. The band's love of the Grateful Dead, both lyrically and musically, as well as the sunny vocal harmonies a la The Byrds and the Beach Boys, evocative of California's golden days of the 1970's, is also evident in the music.
