Plastic Picnic at Javelina

Date TBA

Berkeley

Though based in Brooklyn, Plastic Picnic is a group of four Pacific
Northwest transplants: Lincoln Lute, Emile Panerio, Marshall Hunt, and
Gordon Taylor. The duos (Lute/Panerio and Hunt/Taylor) developed their
styles playing in separate Seattle projects, but it wasn’t until
moving east that they found each other. Described as an “indie post
rock project soundtracking a John Hughes movie,” Plastic Picnic
combines the cinematic pop-nostalgia of the 1980s with their laid-back
west coast feel, a love for analog synth, and melodic guitar work.
Plastic's debut EP was released this October via Highland Park Records.
