Miqui Brightside is a DJ, producer, and photographer from Madrid. The breezy and atmospheric electronic sound on his first EP, “Green Heart” (2015), has caught the attention of press such as Acid Stag, WATM, Tendencias, Remezcla or The Line Of Best Fit.
He has DJed at Razzmatazz (BCN), The Social (London), MizMiz (Paris) Sala X (Sevilla), Dabadaba (San Sebastian), and Goya, Siroco or Matadero in Madrid. He has performed at Madrid Fashion Week, FIB Benicassim, and collaborated on events for Urban Outfitters, RedBull and Jägermeister. His knowledge and experience with electronic music and R&B have lead him to run and book his own monthly session, Blasé Madrid, where he brings in the most interesting and groundbreaking musicians, creating a night scene that supports electronic music and independent acts in Madrid. His monthly playlist on Spotify and his many DJ sets around the country point him out as one of the young tastemakers for music, as well as an artist that will definitely spark a lot of interest on 2017.
