Yori Swart (27) won ‘De Grote Prijs van Nederland’, Amsterdam Popaward and the Sena Pop NL Award in 2011. She has the unique ability to blend blues, folk and pop into an uplifting finger-picking style. In 2012 she impressed many at the Eurosonic Festival, followed by the European release of her self-titled debut album in February. Dutch Radio crowned her ‘Serious Talent’, chose her record as ‘Album of the Week’ and put her first single ‘I Say Nothing’ on hit rotation. The press is equally enthusiastic and Yori plays several important TV shows. Yori is a true live artist, with many shows on record. This includes clubs as well as international festivals. Her shows aren’t just limited to the national Dutch market. Summer 2016 Yori did het first small tour in the United States and Canada. Besides that she has also played in England, Germany, Denmark, and the European Music Festival in Asia. She has done support slots for acts, such as Milow, Jools Holland, Jonathan Jeremiah, Agnes Obel and many others. Spring 2018, M.A.R.S. Label Group US/CEN, The Orchard (a division of Sony Music) will release her brand new record "September" in the US.
