Welsh singer-songwriter Christopher Rees has released 7 full length albums to date. Critical acclaim followed from major music magazines like MOJO, Uncut, Q and radio support from Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2. In 2017 he released 'The Nashville Songs' - an inspired collection of songs co-written in Music City, USA with Nashville writers/performers like Mando Saenz, Rick Brantley and Amy Speace among others. A dynamic, soulful and passionate performer Rees employs a wide range of roots styles from vintage old-time country to upbeat Rockabilly, dark Appalachian clawhammer banjo and stripped back acoustic storytelling. He has toured with ‘Country Outlaw’ hero’s like Steve Earle and Billy Joe Shaver as well music legends John Cale, Wanda Jackson and most recently the great Mavis Staples. He has also taken to the road with other luminaries of American music, The Handsome Family, Chuck Prophet, The Sadies, William Elliott Whitmore, Eli Paperboy Reed, Alejandro Escovedo and Kristin Hersh.
