Peso Da Mafia has cemented themselves as the most adored rap group coming out of Baltimore, MD through building a reputation for exciting showmanship and infectious hooks. Earlier this year, the Northeast Baltimore trio of Shordie Shordie, PDM Purp, and Lor Dee took the city by storm with their sure fire hit “Money Man”, which now has nearly three million views on YouTube. It’s not only the song’s perfect balance of PDM Purp’s raspy, cutting delivery and Shordie’s dragged out drawl of a flow, but also the track’s accompanying dance created by hype man Lor Dee that have made it the city’s most impactful tune since Lor Scoota’s “Bird Flu” in 2014. Peso Da Mafia recently signed with Asylum Records (Ugly God, Yung Gleesh, Dice Soho) and re-released “Money Man” on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, and others on October 27th.
