SETI X is a global shapeshifter utilizing film and music as mediums to create change. Originally hailing from Los Angeles, CA SETI X has toured internationally, sharing the stage with the likes of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Chuck D, Dead Prez, Wu Tang Clan, Prophets of Rage, Ziggy Marley, and many more.
SETI X's accomplishments include being the first emcee to appear on Coke Studios on MTV India, alongside Asian Electronica pioneer & producer Karsh Kale.
He recently completed the tour of his latest documentary, entitled FOLK LOK, a cultural initiative project in collaboration with the American India Foundation and the US Department of State.
SETI X is currently working as a teaching artist at Street Poets, building with the youth within the LA Juvenile Detention System and working with them to create poetry and hip hop music that reflects their emotional and spiritual process as well as resonates their story with the world.
SETI X will be representing on behalf of the Sikh American community on the upcoming 2018 Season of "United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell" on CNN in Summer 2018.
