Sad Baxter is a heavy pop sludge band from Nashville, TN, brought to you by idiots Alex and Deezy. They met in college. They dated, and now they don't. They hate each other, but they love each other. They want to blast "Pinkerton" by Weezer but sing "Cotton-Eyed Joe" over it to try and make you laugh. Inspired by grungy-but-melodic predecessors like Veruca Salt, Nirvana, and Hole, the songs are honest, loud, and from an unapologetic viewpoint of feeling very strongly, or feeling nothing at all.
