Kate Auringer is a singer-songwriter in both the north Texas and Nashville, Tennessee music scenes. Classically trained in piano and self-taught on guitar, Kate’s songs focus on grief, perseverance, hope, and love.
After surviving a head-on car crash caused by a drunk driver in 2015, Kate began writing songs as a way to begin her healing process. After reconstructive surgery and relearning to walk, Kate has attended numerous Performing Songwriter Creative Workshops with Jonatha Brooke, Mary Gauthier, and Beth Nielsen Chapman, where she draws inspiration and receives guidance. Kate is currently working on her debut album with producer Britton Patrick Morgan.
Kate hopes that her music will help others who have also survived trauma in their lives. She resides in Rowlett, Texas with her cat Mr.Thomas.
