Colorado-based, Texas-born artist Ashley Koett has been making music for years but with this recent project she has hit the sweet spot. By fusing elements of jazz and indie pop Koett creates something that's sultry, sunny and guaranteed to get stuck in your head. Koett is something of a quadruple threat: she sings, plays guitar, produces, and co-directed her first video. Though Koett creates indie-pop gems by herself, she fronts a live band where her songs transform into the life of the party. Accompanied with keyboards, drums and bass Ashley’s music is funky and danceable. Since her band’s first show at the 2017 Underground Music Showcase has become a local favorite. After releasing her single and video for “Call Me” Ashley Koett has been featured on Spotify’s “Alternative R&B” playlist and was named a Best New Artist by Pigeons & Planes. Though the project is only half a year old, Ashley is far from done with much more planned for the future.
