UNI, pronounced oo-ni - like the Japanese delicacy of raw sea urchin gonads, is the fabulous new glam and grunge band including Kemp Muhl of The GOASTT. Their blend of styles has been called "classic rock music tinged with glam mixed with a rowdy and daring performance aesthetic" by Pop Matters. Steadily releasing singles through Chimera Music beginning in late 2017, the band pairs each song with an insane, over-the-top video; most of which are directed and edited by Kemp and stand out on their own as eye-grabbing and compelling works of art. Nylon premiered their second video, "Adult Video", and warns it is "a wild, trippy ride into some truly perverse minds...Prepare to be both comforted and disturbed in the best possible way." Pancakes & Whiskey calls Uni "one of the best opening bands we've seen all year" and Highlark says Uni "blew the mind of everyone who came down early" after seeing one of their earliest shows in their hometown of New York. 2018 will be bringing more singles, more videos, more shows, and much more glam, so stay tuned!
