The band starts at the end of 2015 with Andrés Martinez (Guitar, bass, voice) wanting to create a sound and aesthetic influenced by contemporary japanese pop and rap, mixing it with electronic music and trip-hop and trap influenced beats. At the start of the next yeard and onwards, new members come to be part of the band: Felipe Aros (violin), Carlos Vásquez (programmer), Luís Rodríguez (bass), María Jesús Troncoso (synth, voice) and Javier Martínez (drums). On april of 2016, the band released their debut EP, titled ‘Hajimemasu’『はじめます』. At the start of 2017, they release their first official videoclip, for the single ‘Ponón’.
Japanese culture has been a big and very important influence on the artistic development of each member, an element that’s been present on all of the creative process of the band. Manga, anime, movies, literature, and specially japanese music, have been part of the collective imaginary of the band. Artists like Shinichiro Watanabe, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Daoko, Izumi Makura, Nujabes, Sotasei Riron, Kinoko Teikoki, Tricot, among other, have had a big impact on the band, as well as the soundtracks from anime series like Space Dandy and Tatami Galaxy.
