Having worked with Grammy nominated producer Chris ‘Frenchie’ Smith, the single “Marigold” has been popular amongst Collins’ spotlight. It continues to win accolades including a NASCAR placement plus two Austin Songwriters Awards. Touring the country with his former band, and now solo, this hardworking musician has had the privilege of sharing the stage with infamous industry professionals including Old Crow Medicine Show’s Willie Watson. Collins was invited to co-write in Nashville alongside publisher Debbie Throckmorton, daughter of legendary country singer songwriter Sonny Throckmorton. Scott Collins has not shied away from the local scene including KUTX 98.9’s ‘Austin Music Minute’ with Laurie Gallardo, performing also at Studio 1A and showcasing at SXSW in 2015 & 2017. Collins dove back to his roots to focus on his solo project but continues to surround himself with talented musicians. In addition to his songwriting and performing he founded Chicken Run Studios in 2015, designed by Academy and Grammy Award Winning engineer Chet Himes. Collins teamed up with Himes for his latest 2017 EP and will be releasing a follow up in 2018 back with producer Frenchie Smith.
