SXSW Community Screenings: Youth Animation & M.A.F.I.A Screening & Competition
Celebrating youth programs in partnership with the Austin School of Film during SXSW 2017! Work ranges from 8-18 year olds in historically underserved areas in Central Texas. Over 100 students participate in free filmmaking and animation events in partnership with George Washington Carver Museum and local area high schools. All films are created for youth by youth in under 24 hours from script to screen!
