Set over the course of twenty-four hours in NYC follows five main characters as they face ordinary problems, big life questions, threatening situations and existential dilemmas. As the characters attempt to connect with the world and people around them, we move back and forth from Brooklyn to Manhattan, their stories unfolding across the length of the day: a man dealing with a sales exchange gone bad; his roommate hiding from the consequences of a terrible mistake; a woman questioning her abilities to handle a new job and her supervisor guiding her along with his own ulterior motives; an old man no longer able to participate in the business of life as it moves forward.
