One of the biggest misconceptions about building a startup is that it requires a lot of capital. In reality, there are an endless number of ways to growth hack your products with no more than a grand to start. The most lucrative brands today are the ones who are able to leverage social capital to achieve real online clout and drive explosive sales.

Meet Kaeya Majmundar from the Season five Finale of ABC’s hit show “Shark Tank,” who walked away with a deal in hand from Lori Greiner for her collapsible storage box concept, BZbox. What stood out to Kaeya from that “Shark Tank” experience more than anything, was the sales explosion and media frenzy her product experienced as soon as the episode aired despite the fact that she barely even had a prototype to show for it. Now, Kaeya has gone on to co-found a variety of consumer product brands with celebrities and influencers, handling everything on the back end from sourcing, manufacturing, fulfilling etc. She has been able to drive six figures in sales without spending a dime on marketing over the past year or so.

In this talk, you will learn how you can growth hack your brand leveraging TV exposure, social media, press coverage, and celebrity/influencer partnerships on a fraction of the traditional marketing budget.
