Nearly $500 BILLION are spent each year on Medicaid, the source of health insurance for over 65 million Americans in poverty and/or with disabilities. While recent laws (ie Affordable Care Act) are leading to enormous investment from entrepreneurs and investors in Medicare-funded delivery models, Medicaid is largely ignored by the innovation ecosystem. This session will identify the massive opportunities to create unicorns in Medicaid-funded delivery models, barriers to investment in Medicaid, and how to overcome those barriers. Attendees will learn how enormous economic growth can serve as the catalyst for improving health equity for America's most vulnerable populations.
