A New Era for College Towns
Universities across the nation and the world have to be more innovative than ever. For many this means forging stronger partnerships moving beyond the traditional "town & gown" approach. This has never been more evident than at the University of Maryland, College Park where university and local leaders are striving to define the modern land-grant university. As part of the “Greater College Park” initiative to drive job creation, innovation and economic development, the university is on a mission to transform not only the university but revitalize the city of College Park.
