If you’re in film/TV/digital content production, it’s the best of times and it’s the worst of times. It used to be you worked in film or television, and that was it. Now with loads of award-winning original content coming from OTT services like Netflix and with digital content networks like Fullscreen making scripted shows, there are so many more jobs to keep one always working…in theory. The reality is that it’s hard to jump from format to format, and you often have to choose your lane carefully. We’ll explore why that is, whether the stigmas around formats are valid, and how to navigate it all for the long term.
