Affordable and Accessible Lawyers: Really?
Affordable and accessible legal services. Never heard of it, right? Most people don’t pursue their legal rights because they see justice as a series of dollar signs they simply can’t afford. Even lawyers themselves can’t afford the rates they charge. It’s a legal conundrum: a justice gap for citizens playing against law firms that are trying to fill an 80% capacity gap in billable hours. The sharing economy model can bridge these gaps, but the legal field is slow to adopt it. Hear from leaders in the technology, business and the legal profession on what it’s going to take to improve equal access to justice and advance the profession into the 21st century.
