Speakers

We live in an era of pop-up activism in which movements start and spread almost entirely through digital and social platforms. This panel will explore pop-up activism and its place in modern history and will be moderated by Aaron Sherinian, chief communications and marketing officer of the United Nations Foundation, and architect of some of the marquee pop-up movements of our time. Panelists include one millennial who leveraged her run for Congress to become an ambassador for brands with a cause, an entrepreneur who feeds the homeless with an app and the innovation officer behind one of the largest social movements in history.
