Organized by college talent buyers from UW-Madison and Florida State University, the College Booking Meet Up will provide a platform for collaborative discussion between students, university staff, and members of the music industry regarding the state of college booking.

After meeting at SXSW 2016 and feeling unimpressed by the lack of student presence at the festival’s industry-oriented events, and by the shortage of effective student booking across the country, we set out to explore the best ways to ameliorate the challenges one faces as a college talent buyer.

Our meet up will address the most pressing of these issues in an effort to improve the condition of college booking overall.
