Cloaks, Daggers, and Dice: How the CIA Uses Games

Mar 12, 2017

3:30pm – 4:30pm CT

Join a panel of CIA officers as they discuss how the CIA is developing games and using gaming techniques in support of their national security mission. They’ll talk about how they’ve used games and game concepts to train CIA officers, enhance intelligence analysis, incentivize organizational behavior, and more. They'll also talk about the institutional and cultural difficulties they’ve faced applying these techniques, and how (or if!) they overcame them. Whether you are an intelligence wonk, gaming enthusiast, or innovator looking to apply similar concepts in your own organization, this panel is for you! Are games at CIA a critical hit? Are they playing with a full deck? Come and find out!
