Hispanics have become avid technology consumers and, paired with strong emotional connections to their heritage, this may create a path for startups born in Latin America to enter the U.S. market.
A 2015 Nielsen report stated: "Hispanics have become Super Consumers... With a population that will account for more than half of the population growth in the U.S. by 2020, and nearly 85% of growth by 2060, their current $1.4 trillion spending power will grow even larger.”
The demand is there, so now is a matter of building a bridge that will allow entrepreneurs working in Latin America to reach customers who may be eager for solutions that understand their culture and mindset better.
