Our panel will explore the new paradigm of “artist as CEO” and present tools to help artists build and manage teams that can concurrently excel in both creativity and commerce.
Attendees will hear music business perspectives on how to persuade a hesitant industry to embrace artist self-management and how wise investments of time and money help to build an effective, ongoing brand.
They will also hear directly from a successful artist/CEO regarding how to blend creative and business principles successfully to form a team that works in sync with one’s artistic vision. Topics addressed will include fan relationships, making records, networking, booking tours, and leading a band.
