According to the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day and only one in three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week. We'll learn about the design thinking process, with workshop attendees having the opportunity to tackle the design challenge of adult fitness in America. In this crash course-style workshop, participants will use empathy to understand user needs, synthesize observations and reframe the challenge into an actionable problem statement. We will brainstorm possible solutions, develop an early prototype and wrap the session with some preliminary testing.
