It may take an army to make a film, TV show or documentary, but in the end it comes down to the director/editor relationship. Being locked up in a dark room together can be an amazing, creative, collaboration or a painful, unproductive experience depending on communication between the two parties. For directors, we will discuss how to get the best results out of your editor (without touching the keyboard) and for editors, we will discuss how to understand and implement what your director wants.
