The Moth’s Artistic Director Catherine Burns will sit down for a discussion with Neuroscientist Alexander Huth to talk about the science and subsequent impact of stories on brains, emotions, and relationships.
The duo will explore the science of story, and how a good tale affects and connects people. The conversation will utilize visual aids including video examples from some of The Moth’s most popular and poignant stories to illuminate the process of crafting a compelling story. It would also incorporate elements of the University of California Berkeley that mapped areas of the brain using a handful of Moth stories.
