As publications become increasingly digital, the pressure to deliver a constant stream of dynamic content also grows. Yet, this rapid content consumption increases the security risk for publications’ own web traffic and customers. Any site can be targeted and the repercussions of, and damage from, a breach go far beyond the data privacy disclosures required of the victim and reputational damage the company suffers. This panel will discuss how modern content consumption and delivery requires a new approach to traditional and evolving security risks, such as DDoS attacks, and how publications can better protect their websites and users, without sacrificing performance.
