The National Facility for the Regulation of Regret

Mar 12, 2017

11:00am – 12:00pm CT

Can we be addicted to regret? Does regret have a role in addiction? Dr. Rachel Genn would like to present the concept behind the Multiplatform project THE NATIONAL FACILITY FOR THE REGULATION OF REGRET (NFRR) and the spark that began the project. She will show a short film (comedy, dystopian) of the NFRR and will describe her Regret-o-Tron installation to give a flavour of the world of this quasi-facility. She will discuss audience regrets and look into what might epitomize them (including discussing how to make these are shareable) and examine how these could become part of an art/science interactive NFRR.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
