Lil Ronny MothaF at 512
With a charismatic yet hardcore approach to the execution of music Ronny Wright Jr. better known as Lil Ronny MothaF has single handedly impacted the Dallas music scene. With over 26,000 followers on twitter, over 10k fans on facebook and over 4 million total views on You Tube, no one can deny this young man’s talent and vivaciousness for the thing we call entertainment.
Born July 11, 1991 in Dallas, TX, Lil Ronny was the youngest of four. At a young age Ronny knew he would grow up to be a professional athlete, but soon discovered that his love for entertainment would suppress all other urges. He began performing at school talent shows, dancing, and rapping.
“Pretty much I love the whole industry, the music, the entertainment. I love it all, I like to bring life to anything I do…It is what it is. It’s a blessing that I’m good at it.”
Only 2 years in taking performing and recording seriously, Ronny has shown that hard work and consistency definitely pay off. He has already acquired a deal with one of Dallas’ top Indie labels FamLife Entertainment LLC. Ronny has proved that it not only counts to have raw talent but to remain humble and votive as well.
“I m just being myself and that’s all I know how to be. It’s a bunch of negativity out here, so I really just want to outweigh it. I haven’t always had much, but I make the best of what I have, whether it’s the way I dress or anything for that matter. Opposition and tough times are good, you feel me? You’re always going to have people that don’t agree with what you’re doing or even how you do it, but you have turn that into motivation if it’s something that you really want to do…then the people around you will respect you… the more you keep going and keep grinding. People may not like what you are doing but they will respect what you’re doing. And I stay grounded…the only thing I fear is God.
You have to wonder how this young man was raised when you see and experience his talent and personality. It’s all accredited to his mom. Parents don’t always understand the paths their children take, and some decide to not support that path; however, once it was understood that this was not just a hobby behind closed doors, his mom became a die hard supporter.
“It was a point when my mom didn’t know what it was, and it’s difficult to support something you don’t know about or really understand, she just thought I was playing around in my room and what not but I gave her a few of my cd’s one day. Then some people in the streets were like, “Hey I know your son.” When she found out…she was good and has been supporting me ever since. “That’s my momma man. I know you hear all these artist saying, “I do this for the streets, and I do this for my fans, I do this for this and so on and so forth, but I do this for my momma, to be honest. I’m tired of her working; she’s been working as long as I can remember. I want her to be able to enjoy life while she can. I appreciate and love my fans and I’ma do my best not to let them down, but my momma is my rock…period.”
When you mix humility, and raw energetic talent…you get the phenom that is “Lil Ronny MothaF”…period.
