I Don't Wanna Leave

After relocating to Los Angeles from New Jersey, Tdot ILLdude's music has already taken him to new levels even if he isn't famous enough to be recognized for it yet. Since making the jump to the west coast last year, Tdot had spent countless hours in the studio honing his sound and carving out a unique space in the recently resurged LA music scene. Raised in Willingboro, New Jersey, Tdot began making music at the age of 16. After teaming with early collaborator, Cardiak who also hails from Willingboro, Tdot began gaining popularity on the local music circuit, making a name for himself mainly as a battle rapper. Since then, Tdot’s fan base has had the unique pleasure of observing his organic evolution, with his refined sound galvanizing them to take notice. His unmistakable voice, most notably flashed on fan favorite “Feeling Myself” serves as an undertone on recent release “Take Me Under” where Tdot paints a resonating picture of a man on a trek to success, working through moments of desperation and torment but never differing from the ultimate goal. Featured on the end credits of the Starz network hit television series “Power” (Season 2 Episode 5) “Take Me Under” peaked at #1 on the shazam trending charts while simultaneously breaking into the top 100 on the iTunes rap chart. As he continues to work and expand the musical palette of his listeners, originality is one consistent factor in a growing catalog that is as diverse as is raw. With his debut mixtape “Stay Down To Come Up” set for a fall release in 2015, Tdot has primed himself to help shape the setting in an ever-changing music landscape for years to come.
