Deap Vally is a heavy rock two-piece who met at a knitting shop in Los Angeles 7 years ago. Vocalist/ guitarist Lindsey Troy and Drummer/ vocalist Julie Edwards draw from funk, punk, metal, grunge, and surf to craft their vintage sound. Imagine PJ Harvey teaming up with Parliament Funkadelic to do a Black Sabbath tribute band, and you're getting close. Their second record 'FEMEJISM,' produced by Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, came out last September.
