Wild Rivers at 18th Floor at Hilton Garden Inn
Wild Rivers is a Toronto-based indie folk band that has carved out their name as one of the North America’s most exciting young acts. They released their debut album in April 2016, and celebrated the achievement with a sold-out show at Toronto's Adelaide Hall.
Born out of Devan Glover (vocals) and Khalid Yassein’s (vocals, guitar) eponymous duo “Devan & Khalid”, Wild Rivers took on a life of its own with the addition of Ben Labenski (drums) and Andrew Oliver (bass, guitar) in 2015. Drawing influence from James Taylor and Fleetwood Mac, Wild Rivers captivates listeners and audiences with the magnetism and chemistry born from a male/female vocal duo. Wild Rivers manages a popular sound that is uniquely meaningful, contemporary, and refreshing, while still honouring their classic and legendary inspirers.
Wild Rivers are forging a path through the Canadian folk scene and beyond: consistently packing venues in Canada and the US, and obtaining loyal new fans along the way.
