GIZZLE
Gizzle is a Los Angeles born rap artist who has seen most of her success thus far on the songwriting end of the spectrum. She honed her skills by writing hits with some of the biggest names in the industry today. This long list of names includes the likes of Puff Daddy, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Ty$, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, T.I. and many others.
However, over the last year and a half, we saw the Bad Boy affiliate make her rap reintroduction with a variety of spectacularly unique feature verses. Whether it was her smooth and captivating intro verse on Puff Daddy's "You Could Be Lover" or her positively uplifting and vibrant verse on "Enough" with Australian megastar Delta Goodrem; Gizzle was sure to leave you asking, "Who is that girl?" Her latest feature "Lazy" with T.I. show's yet another side of Gizzle, seemingly more dark and serious, as her unmistakably raspy tone cuts right through the speaker and into your soul with an air of calm and collectedness. Now that she has directed her energy toward putting out solo projects of her own the world can finally get more than just a taste of Gizzle.
She's currently promoting her latest project, an indie release called "7 Days in Atlanta". It is a part of a series where she conceptualizes and records an entire project in 7 days in a randomly chosen city. It is an EP that perfectly blends both infectious and sophisticated beats with effortless, clever and covertly conscious lyrics brought home by uniquely relatable concepts and random bursts of melody. "7 days in Atlanta" is available online everywhere Jan. 20, 2017.
