For 14 years, Colin has been informed by these observations, writing songs and playing under his own name. In 2016, his songs were featured in three films including La Barracuda, a movie that stars Sophie Reid and Allison Tolman and features a performance by Colin. His second album Goodnight Lane won fans across the world and critical acclaim, including 4-star reviews in Mojo and Uncut. His third release The Wild and Hollow was named "Best Americana/singer-songwriter album of 2013" by Mike Ragogna in The Huffington Post.
