Breaking into the music industry with clean delivery and personal flare, teen rap artist B Bandz is ready to show the masses that he is the dope new force to be reckoned with. Combining his passions for rapping, writing and performing, the emerging artist has a unique approach to music that will certainly distinguish him from any of his generation. Hailing from Chicago’s East Side, B Bandz was once just a typical 16 year old Hillcrest High School student, but has already begun to transform into a household name. With the major influences from artist such as Lil Wayne, B. Bandz watched him grow up in the industry perfecting his craft and studied his metaphors, while also drawing inspiration from Fabolous whose swag and lyrical content brought a different perspective. Current influences such as YFN Lucci , Lil Uzi Vert also contribute to his sound and unique magnetic voice.
The young rapper began his career in an unconventional way: creating Gospel rap songs for his church. By the age of 10 years old B.Bandz was writing his own songs, but the artist admittedly did not begin to take a career in music seriously, until 2016. Now, making major moves and taking strides in his career that many adult artists still strive for, B. Bandz was approached by a fellow teen rap star Nia Kay (from “The Rap Game) who enjoyed his flow so much, that her team insisted that they tour together.
B. Bandz takes pride in his consistent ability to stand out from his peers, his fans, and soon the entire music business. While his music is 100% profanity free, Bandz takes pride in his ability to deliver popular music without harsh undertones and delivery; he is the perfect example that young artist are viable in the music world! B.Bandz is currently working on his debut album “How I’m Coming” followed up his forthcoming single with famed dancing rap star DLow (creator of the DLow shuffle) entitled “Wonderful Feeling”, and recently released video “Y.R.N.” as well as touring with Nia Kay and preparing for the release of 2 more songs featuring his female rap companion.
B.Bandz may have once been just a kid, but he is increasingly evolving into someone that will transform the standard of hip-hop artists and the face of rap music!
