IMA winner Casii Stephan has a voice that you won’t soon forget. With comparisons to Florence Welch, Fiona Apple and Carole King, her voice will envelop your soul like a “warm blanket” (Tulsa World). She is stamping her musical sound in the Tulsa soundscape and also co-founding the female driven festival, MisFEST in Tulsa, OK. She was recently featured as one of nine Oklahoma musicians to watch in 2017 by the Tulsa World Magazine.

Growing up shy and scared of her own voice, Casii began to write songs on the family piano at sixteen years old. Finding a voice through music, she began to communicate her life through song. When life pushed an ordinary story line in her face, music gave her hope for the extraordinary. Now she sings with the power of knowing herself and is unafraid to share with others

Her songwriting is full of pop hooks that will get stuck in your head. Her songs have been featured on two independent movie soundtracks that were filmed in Tulsa. Her songs tell stories and are symbols of change in her life.

While playing in Tulsa, Casii has had the privilege of playing at some of the best local bars, festivals and events in Tulsa, OK. She is currently recording a new single with a full album to be released at the end of 2017. She is honored to be playing the SXSW stage for the first time.
